When I was a young pastor I moved a lot. In fact, I averaged 16 months at each of my first 4 churches! The word on me was, “Vines is a fair preacher, but he doesn’t stay anywhere very long.” Then I went to First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida and stayed almost 24 years.
